Fortnite developer Epic Games has revealed that skater Chloe Kim will soon be coming to the popular battle royale game as part of the title’s ongoing Icon Series. In recent years, the Icon Series in Fortnite has added a number of famous athletes, content creators, and other people in the real world to the game in some unique ways. Now, Kim is the latest person to join this rotation, with her skin coming to the Item Shop in the near future.
Chloe Kim’s outfit in Fortnite will be officially available for players to purchase starting later this week on Saturday, March 26th. However, before this time, Epic Games will retain the Chloe Kim Trophy, something that has become the standard for a number of major skin releases. On March 24th, this limited-time event will be available for dual subscriptions. Those who do the best they can eventually in their area will be able to win a Chloe Kim costume before its official release.

Since this is a theme from the Icon series, Epic puts a little more effort into this version than they do the others. Specifically, Chloe Kim will get four alternative styles for her base skin. One of these patterns is in black and gold, and the other is in blue and pink. Additionally, there is a third style that sees Kim frozen and looking like a snowman from the X-Men.
Finally, other than skins alone, Kim will have a number of different additional items that players can obtain within Fortnite. One was a pair of icy-looking wings that Kim could decorate as a back bling, while the Frozen Flourish ax would allow her to slice through materials with the power of cold. And perhaps the coolest of these, Kim will also have a glider available that looks like a large ice dragon. Once again, all of these accessories will be available later this week on March 26th along with the release of character skins for Kim.
